Cleanse Day 12: Sweet Potato and Veggie Sauté

Just 9 more days of this cleanse! I’ll be honest, we all started getting a little “hangry” by the end of the day…The four of us made a trip up to Columbia, Tennessee so I could meet some more of the Wadley clan, so we spent most of the day in the car. Once we got to Grandy and Nana’s house, it was a team effort in the kitchen to put lunch together. Everything turned out great, and we had everyone eating cleanse friendly food! Cleanse Day 7: Vegetable and Red Lentil Soup

Officially 1 week down! I have really enjoyed the recipes we’ve been able to try, but the hardest thing has been planning ahead. It’s worth it to eat clean, but it does take a lot more time to prepare meals. With the time we had in between services today, I threw nearly all the leftover vegetables we had in a crock pot with some vegetable broth and red lentils so we could come home to a nice warm pot of soup (recipe below). Cleanse Day 4: Chocolate Peppermint Shake, Collard Green Hummus Wraps, and Stuffed Acorn Squash

Lots of fun new recipes today! The Mr. and I finally have everything unpacked and are starting to settle in, which means more time to play around with dishes. Today was also our first day back to the gym since we left Seattle, and it feels great to be getting back into a routine.
